Sound of Music, good, not great

It was an enjoyable experience, however, it's so hard to compete with the movie. When your used to hearing Julie Andrews, it's hard to not be disappointed! The kids did a great job and I enjoyed hearing them sing. I like the nuns songs. They were very good. There was one song that Max and Elsa sing that was awkward and I've never heard it before. I think that song could have been left out all together and no one would have even noticed. It's not exactly like the movie and songs are not in order compared to the movie so that can throw some people for a loop. Overall, a good experience but glad I didn't pay for a full price ticket!
